Hein Jaekel has extensive work experience in various companies, primarily focusing on user experience design and product management. Hein started their career as an Engineer at ComTelco/TeleCape in 2000 and then worked as a Product Manager at Attix5 from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Commercial Product Manager at CentraStage, where they managed the user experience process and product marketing. Hein then joined kalahari.com as a Product Manager: Marketplace, responsible for defining and developing the Marketplace product offering. In 2010, they became the Head of Product Management at kalahari.com, where they focused on developing the product roadmap and strategy. Hein joined Amazon Web Services in 2013 as a Principal Product Manager for EC2 and worked there until 2015. From 2016 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Superbalist.com, including Head of User Experience and Lead Product Manager: Conversion. Most recently, they have been working as the Head of User Experience Design at Bash since 2021.
Hein Jaekel pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1998, they attended Stellenbosch University, majoring in Computer Science, and earned a B.Comm degree. Subsequently, in 1999 and 2000, they enrolled at IT-IQ, where they specialized in Exchange and obtained an MCSE certification.
