Makenna Combs

Makenna Combs is an accomplished design professional with a robust career spanning over a decade in the creative industry. Currently serving as the Associate Design Director and Design Lead at BASIC/DEPT® since November 2021, Makenna focuses on creating aesthetically pleasing and informative product pages for the Google Store. Previous experience includes a Senior Designer role at Instrument, where Makenna contributed to brand design and art direction for prominent clients such as Google and Nike, including impactful video content for the Nike app. Earlier roles encompassed positions as a Senior Interaction Designer at AKQA, Senior Visual Designer at Left Field Labs, and Digital Designer at Wieden + Kennedy, working with brands like Coca-Cola and Sony. Makenna's career began with various freelance and design roles, including a Designer position at eROI and an internship at CircleTriangleSquare, all following the achievement of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Portland.
