Kara Place is the current CEO at [Instrument](/org/instrument). Prior to this, they served as the company's President for just over a year. Kara has also held the position of VP of Marketing and Business Development, and Executive Director at [Instrument](/org/instrument). Kara got their start in the industry as an Executive Producer at [Instrument](/org/instrument), before moving on to Bent Image Lab where they were Head of Production for six years. From there, they went on to Lakeshore Entertainment as Production Management before taking on the role of Production at [Wieden + Kennedy](/org/wieden-plus-kennedy). Kara began their career as a Set Production Assistant on Coen Brothers' productions.

Leon Anderson is the current VP of Production at Instrument. Kristen has over 10 years of experience in the design industry, working with clients such as Chrysler, Dodge, Nike, [Laika](/org/laika), Target, and more. Kristen's experience ranges from web design to brand identity and print materials. Kristen has a strong passion for design and is always looking for new ways to push the boundaries and create unique experiences for their clients.

Anne Potter is the Executive Director at Instrument. Anne has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on the technology industry. Anne has worked with some of the world's largest brands, including Levi's, [Red Bull](/org/red-bull), Intel, and Solestruck. Anne is a strategic and creative thinker, with a passion for producing high-quality work that drives results.

Avi Couillard is the current Strategy Director at [Instrument](/org/instrument). Avi has also previously worked at [Instrument](/org/instrument) as an Associate Strategy Director and Senior Strategist, [Big Spaceship](/org/big-spaceship) as a Senior Strategist and Senior Account Manager, and PMH as an Account Executive. Avi has also interned at Fallon. During their time at JanSport, they were a Student Ambassador.

Avi Couillard has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in finance and communication arts. They also studied abroad at City, University of London.

Jeremie Carlson is the current Technical Director at Instrument. Prior to this, they were the Front End Development Manager at Horizontal Integration from July 2011 to March 2015. Jeremie has also worked as an Interactive Intern at Adsoka, Inc. from May 2011 to July 2011, a Camera and Equipment Sales Specialist at West Photo from October 2010 to May 2011, and a Program Director at UW Eau Claire from June 2009 to August 2009. Jeremie Carlson has also been an Assistant d'Anglais at Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et du Textiles from September 2008 to May 2009, and an Imaging Specialist at Sharp Photo and Portrait from September 2004 to April 2010.

Jeremie Carlson has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in French and Art with a focus on photography. They also have an Associates Degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institutes International Minnesota. Lastly, they have studied at the Université de Caen Normandie.

Christina Heiman is a Senior Executive Producer at Instrument. Christina has over 8 years of experience in the design industry, having worked with companies such as fuseproject, [Merkle](/org/merkle), and [Dentsu](/org/dentsu). 

 Christina has led multidisciplinary teams in producing category-defining products and experiences. Christina is known for their ability to work in nimble teams and create innovative solutions for their clients. Some of their past clients include Samsung, Movado, [Herman Miller](/org/herman-miller), Canal+, Edyn, and Ori Systems.

Christina Heiman attended [California State University, Fullerton](/org/california-state-university-fullerton) and UC Irvine. Christina has a certification from Lingua Edge in TESOL Teaching Certificate.

Kristen started their career at Gravitate Design as an Account Director and Sr. Account Manager. Kristen then went on to work at Twenty Four 7 as a Senior Digital Producer. Kristen has a proven track record of producing high-quality work for their clients. Kristen is a strategic thinker and excels at problem solving. Kristen is a strong leader and motivator.
