Adrian Bruengger

Adrian Bruengger is an experienced professional in the field of informatics with a career spanning over two decades. Since August 2004, Adrian has served as the Head of Discovery Informatics at Basilea Pharmaceutica AG, where responsibilities include Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, compound logistics, scientific literature access, data management, supervision of structural biology, IP protection, and scientific data processing. Prior to this role, Adrian was the Laboratory Head of Bioinformatics in Oncology Research at Novartis Pharma AG from August 1998 to July 2004, focusing on genomics research, target identification, and the development of an expression profile database. Adrian obtained a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from ETH Zürich, completing the degree between 1986 and 1997.
