Bethany Peters

Bethany Peters has gained a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Bethany began by volunteering at the Basilica of Saint Mary, where they co-founded and led a young women's group, successfully organizing various learning, service, and social events. Bethany also served as a volunteer board member of the Young Adults Planning Committee, where they played a crucial role in planning and hosting group activities and events, as well as initiating monthly game nights.

In 2012, Bethany joined Caribou Coffee as a team member, contributing to the smooth operation of the establishment. Prior to that, they worked at Mader's Restaurant as a graphic designer responsible for creating print, email, and website advertisements. Bethany excelled in redesigning menus, establishing a Facebook fan page, and increasing the fan count. Bethany also quickly adapted to using new email advertising software.

Bethany's work experience in the performing arts industry includes their role as an administrative coordinator at the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. There, they actively contributed to the Young Playwrights Festival Evaluation Committee, selecting winning plays. Additionally, they managed personnel contact sheets, facilitated auditions, prepared show programs, and facilitated talk-back sessions after performances.

At Froedtert Hospital, Bethany gained valuable experience as a media relations intern. Bethany effectively wrote press releases and assisted with media escorting. Bethany also demonstrated their organizational skills by developing a systematic filing system. Bethany actively participated in creating flyers, writing articles for the staff newsletter, updating the hospital's website, and planning and executing events. Additionally, Bethany played a vital role in media tracking, calculating publicity value, and managing the team's published media stories.

Bethany Peters attended Marquette University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a double major in Public Relations and Theatre Arts. Bethany successfully completed their studies and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
