Thyaga Rajan Serniwassan is an experienced executive with a robust background in data center management and engineering. Currently serving as the Executive Board Director (Technical) at Basis Bay since March 2008, Thyaga has held various leadership roles, including CEO of Data Center and Acting Director of Business Operations, focusing on the design, consulting, and management of world-class data centers. As Chairman of the Malaysian Data Centre Alliance since 2017, Thyaga has been instrumental in promoting Malaysia as a data center hub in Southeast Asia, having organized the inaugural Malaysian Data Centre Annual Conference in 2013. Previously, Thyaga served as Chairman and Senior Electrical Designer at Zainuddin Parsons Brinckerhoff from 1991 to 1998. Thyaga holds an MBA from the London School of Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bridgeport.
