Amanda Luna

Amanda Luna currently serves as a Grade 4 Learning Expert Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools since March 2022, where responsibilities include evaluating students’ academic and social growth, communicating with parents, and collaborating with Subject Experts to address various student needs. Previously, Amanda worked as a Monitor supporting lead teachers and summer programs, and as an After-School Counselor at Congressional School focusing on student safety and development. Amanda also contributed as a Bimodal Intern during the pandemic, assisting teachers, and gained experience as a Paleobiology Intern at the Smithsonian Institution. Amanda holds a Major in Government & International Relations from George Mason University, completed between 2018 and 2022.
