Spanish Teacher 5th -12th; AP Language & Culture; POST AP (capstone) at BASIS Independent Schools

Licinia Williams has extensive experience in language education, currently serving as a Spanish Teacher for grades 5-12 at BASIS Independent Schools since August 2010, where responsibilities also include teaching AP Language & Culture and Post-AP (Capstone) courses. Licinia successfully organized summer immersion trips to Costa Rica in 2012 and Spain in 2017, handling all logistics, budgeting, and approval processes. Prior to this role, Licinia taught Latin and Spanish at Desert Willow Elementary School for one academic year and has a total teaching career spanning from 1995 to 2011. Licinia holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Dickinson College.
