Yue Yu

Yue Yu has extensive experience in educational management and teaching, currently serving as Admissions Manager at BASIS Independent Schools since July 2016, overseeing the complete admissions process and coordinating interviews and screenings for applicants. Previously, Yue Yu worked as a Subject Expert Teacher, instructing K-4 and 7th grade students, and contributed to curriculum design alongside a global administration team. Prior roles include Project Coordinator at SDSU Research Foundation, where textbook development and marketing materials were created for various educational clients, and Research Assistant at Sichuan University, focusing on data collection and translation for Second Language Acquisition research. Yue Yu holds a Master’s Degree in Bilingual and Multilingual Education from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Sichuan University.
