Tina Lieu has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Tina currently serves as a Marketing Content Consultant at Babel Street since 2023. Prior to that, Tina worked at Basis Technology from 2014 to 2012 as a Marketing Consultant, where they focused on writing and editing marketing material, conducting customer interviews, and producing product documentation.
In their earlier tenure at Basis Technology from 2010 to 2012, Tina held the position of Director of Marketing Communications and Market Intelligence. Tina began their career at Basis Technology Corp. in 1998, initially as a Project Manager and later as the Director of Knowledge Management. In this role, Tina managed client projects, internationalization efforts, and custom solutions.
Tina's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Editor at LINC Media/Computing Japan, where they conducted interviews and wrote articles about the Japanese high tech market. Tina also served as a Coordinator at Sight & Sound and was a Translation Intern at J Walter Thompson.
Throughout their career, Tina has demonstrated expertise in marketing, writing, editing, and project management. Tina is skilled in translating technical concepts into clear and concise messaging.
Tina Lieu attended Williams College from 1986 to 1990, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in political science. Later, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued non-degree graduate work at Sophia University, focusing on journalism.
