Kate Adams

Kate Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kate currently serves as the Vice President of Education & Development at Basis Technologies since 2018. Prior to that, they held roles such as Director of Education & Development and Manager of Revenue Enablement at the same company. Before joining Basis Technologies, Kate worked as a Sales Enablement Manager at a different organization from 2020 to 2021.

Their previous experience includes working as an SME Sales Trainer at Trustwave in 2016 and 2017, where they trained new sales representatives and developed continuous education programs. From 2012 to 2016, Kate worked at Groupon, initially as a Quality Assurance Representative in the Global Customer Experience department and later as a Customer Service Representative. Kate contributed to training content creation and evaluation, as well as media contributions during their time at Groupon.

In their early career, Kate worked as an Administrative Assistant and Hostess at Italian Village Restaurant and as a Sales Associate for LOFT at ANN INC. Kate also gained experience as a Department of Theater & Dance Photographer at Millikin University.

Kate Adams earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Acting from Millikin University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Kate also obtained additional certifications, including CPR/AED certification from Chicago CPR Now in June 2019 and a 250HR Yoga Teacher Training certification from Tejas Yoga Chicago in 2017.
