Kaitlin Salyer

Kaitlin Salyer currently serves as the Talent Development Director at Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, focusing on building partnerships between education and industry to develop local talent. Prior experience includes directing Workforce Development & Education at Highlands Economic Partnership, where management of programs and committees facilitated equitable access to career preparation opportunities for K-12 students. Earlier roles include Coordinator of Workforce Development & Education at Highlands Economic Partnership, where Kaitlin collaborated with educational institutions and employers to initiate pathways to high-demand jobs, and Assistant Coordinator at Tennessee Technological University, advising students on community service requirements and supporting outreach programs. Kaitlin's career began with AmeriCorps, where establishment of the TTU Food Pantry and Backpack Project addressed local food insecurity and garnered significant donations. Kaitlin earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Social Work Concentration from Tennessee Technological University.
