Emma Walsh

Emma Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of human resources and administration. Emma is currently the Chief People Officer at Basis Technologies, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, Emma worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Tradeweb from February 2019 to August 2021.

Before joining Tradeweb, Emma had a significant tenure at Vision Critical, where they held multiple roles within the human resources department. Emma started as a Human Resources Coordinator in September 2014 and progressed to be a Human Resources Benefits Specialist from September 2015 to September 2016. Subsequently, they became a Human Resources Generalist from September 2016 to February 2017. Emma's final role at Vision Critical was as a Human Resources Business Partner from February 2017 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Emma worked as a Behavioral Interventionist at Family Centred Practices Group from January 2014 to June 2014. Emma also served as an Administration Assistant at Cushman & Wakefield from November 2011 to March 2013.

Throughout their career, Emma has gained valuable experience in various HR functions and has showcased their ability to progress into leadership roles.

Emma Walsh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Mental Health First Aid from MHFA England, which they obtained in June 2021, and in Learning GDPR from LinkedIn, which they obtained in May 2018.
