EA to the Executive Leadership Team & Office Manager at Basis Technologies

Melanie Carleton-Morley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Melanie started their career as a Regional Claims Manager at Quinn Direct Insurance, where they handled vehicle accident claims. Melanie then moved on to work at JTL as a Regional Training Centre Coordinator, coordinating apprenticeship programs for electrical and plumbing trades. After that, they worked at BEST Colleges t/a Energy Assessor College as a Centre Manager and PA to the MD, overseeing the administration and operations of multiple training centers. Melanie then worked at Rhino Group as an Office Manager and Executive PA to the MD, responsible for managing office operations and providing support to the MD. Melanie briefly worked at Care UK as an EA to MD, HR Director, Business Development Director, and Office Manager, coordinating the activities of the directors and providing administrative support. Melanie then joined CCgroup - B2B & B2C Tech PR as an Office Manager and PA to the Chairman and CEO, where they managed various HR functions and provided support to the chairman and CEO. Following that, they worked at ROLTA EUROPE B.V. as an EA to the President and Office/HR Manager, performing a wide range of duties including diary management, travel coordination, HR duties, and event management. Melanie then worked at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company as a Personal Assistant to the MD and Office Manager, handling office management, HR admin, and providing EA support. Most recently, they worked at COMPASS GROUP PLC as an Executive Assistant, initially to a regional MD and later to the Group CFO, where they managed complex diaries, global travel coordination, and board level responsibilities. Currently, they are working at Basis Technologies as an EA to the Executive Leadership Team and Office Manager.

Melanie Carleton-Morley pursued their education starting in 1988 at the University of Central Lancashire. Melanie completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in European Business Administration and Languages, attaining a 2.1 degree, in 1991. Following this, from 1991 to 1993, they enrolled at the University of Kent, where they obtained a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on European Business, specifically in France and Spain.
