Marketing Manager, Technology at Bass, Berry & Sims

Ashley Howerton has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ashley started their career at Sunshine Suites Resort as an Administrator, where they managed and organized the stateside office for a new resort in Grand Cayman. Ashley was responsible for setting up reservations, maintaining an online tracking system, and coordinating the importation of hotel purchases.

Afterwards, they went on to establish their own personal training studio called LEAN Personal Training, where they served as the Owner and Administrator. In this role, they oversaw the administrative functions of the studio, including marketing, bookkeeping, and billing. Ashley also designed various marketing materials and handled client payments, trainer payments, expense tracking, and baking for the business.

Following their entrepreneurial stint, Ashley joined Bass, Berry & Sims as a Client Relations Coordinator. In this role, they assisted the Director of Client Relations and Business Development Coordinators in firm business development efforts. Ashley'sresponsibilities included coordinating proposal preparation, maintaining new business logs, administering the firm's website, coordinating firm directory activities and seminars, and tracking sponsorship efforts and department expenses.

Ashley then moved up to become a Business Development Coordinator at Bass, Berry & Sims. Here, they served as a liaison for a variety of legal practices and industries. Ashley'stasks included drafting and proofreading marketing materials such as newsletters, press releases, website content, pitch materials, RFP responses, and maintaining marketing database lists. Ashley also provided support for attorney follow-up on new business development initiatives.

In their subsequent role as a Marketing Technology Coordinator at Bass, Berry & Sims, Ashley managed website content, tracked and analyzed metrics for various campaigns and practice groups, and developed social media platforms for the firm, practice, and industry.

Ashley's most recent role at Bass, Berry & Sims was as a Marketing Manager, Technology, where they served as the department lead for all things related to marketing technology. Ashley'sresponsibilities included overseeing website management, conducting market research, gathering competitive intelligence on website design and user experience, and creating and promoting new practice areas for web and pitch materials.

Ashley Howerton completed their high school education at Edgewater High School from 1993 to 1997. Ashley then pursued further studies at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications from 1997 to 2001, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Public Relations.
