Christopher L. Tsakiris

Chris Tsakiris is the Senior Director of Finance at Bass, Berry & Sims. In this role, he leads the firm’s finance department to develop financial and tax strategies that will help accomplish the firm’s business objectives. He works closely with firm leadership to meet the firm’s strategic financial objectives and evolving client needs. Chris and his team are responsible for financial reporting and analysis, planning and budgeting, billing and collections, taxes, and accounting functions for the firm.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience leading financial operations for law firms and has close to 28 years in the law firm industry. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of a boutique insurance law firm in New York for 10 years. His prior experience includes serving as Director of Finance at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & Macrae LLP and Internal Auditor and Controller at the global law firm of Proskauer Rose LLP both situated in New York. Chris has a B.S in sociology from St. Francis College and attended Monmouth University majoring in accounting to obtain accreditation for CPA.
