Whitney Burnley

Whitney Burnley has gained a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Assistant Instructor and Assistant Summer Camp Instructor at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre. In 2013, they worked as a Hostess at The Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants. In 2014, they interned as an Account Representative at Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. In 2015, they became a Leadership Consultant for Kappa Kappa Gamma, providing consultation to chapters across the U.S. and Canada. In 2017, they started their legal career at The University of Memphis, where they held various roles including Staff Member and Editor-in-Chief for The University of Memphis Law Review, as well as a Writing Fellow at the Writing Center. Whitney continued to pursue their legal career through summer associate positions at Farris Bobango in 2017, Baker Donelson in 2018, and Bass, Berry & Sims in 2018 and 2019. Currently, they work as a Corporate and Securities Associate at Bass, Berry & Sims.

Whitney Burnley received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2015. Whitney'sstudies were focused on Management and Marketing as well as Psychology. Prior to that, they attended Briarcrest Christian High School from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Doctor of Law degree (JD) at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. No specific field of study was mentioned for their JD degree.
