Bass Rocks Golf Club

Bass Rocks is a beautiful but demanding seaside links course with views of the Atlantic Ocean on almost every hole. The par 69 (71 for women), offers a wide variety of shot making situations which are caused by the ever changing winds, chocolate drop mounds, fast rolling greens and long fescue areas. Established in 1896 the Herbert Leeds designed course has hosted the MGA Junior Championship in 1996 and several local MGA/WGAM qualifiers throughout the years. The conditions of this links course is second to none with bent/poa greens that are fast, firm and undulated where staying below the pin is a must. This course is enjoyed by all because it is just plain fun! The newly constructed 14,000 square foot clubhouse is sure to wow anyone with it's spectacular views of the course and the ocean. Bass Rocks Golf Club is a private, member-owned golf club established in 1896. Our sole purpose is to maintain golf and tennis facilities that encourage athletic exercise and provide a place for social meetings. We are a private membership organization with a Sec. 501 (c)(7) federal tax exemption. Situated on 112 acres in East Gloucester, Massachusetts, the Club renders spectacular ocean views to members and their guests.
