Heather began their career in 1996 as an Editorial Director at Reed Business Information, where they worked until 2005. From 1998 to 2005, they also served as the Editorial Director at Professional Builder magazine. In 2005, McCune joined Bassenian Lagoni Architects as the Director of Marketing, a position they currently hold.
Heather McCune attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
