Pressure Vessel Engineer at Bassett Mechanical

Travis Beek has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Travis started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at A-C Compressor Corporation in 2001, where they actively contributed to projects such as the upgrade of the Freon recovery system and the replacement of the steam condenser.

In 2002, Beek joined River Flats Testing Corporation as a Senior Test Engineer, where they conducted industry compliance tests for turbomachinery and provided technical leadership to a team of test engineers and technicians. Travis held this position for nearly ten years.

In 2012, Beek joined GE Oil & Gas as a Mechanical Engineer (Contract Employee), supporting the Senior Project Engineer role in the successful launch of a new GE ECOmagination product – a natural gas fueling package for vehicles. In this role, they reviewed vendor drawings, bills of material, and ensured equipment selected met project requirements. Later in 2012, they took on the position of Lead Systems Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, where they partnered with various teams in designing new products, particularly the design of CNG systems for vehicle fueling in compliance with NFPA 52.

Travis'smost recent experience is with Bassett Mechanical, where they have been working as a Pressure Vessel Engineer since 2015. Further details about their responsibilities and accomplishments in this role are not provided.

Travis Beek attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which was ABET accredited.
