Oleksandr Firsov

AI Research Scientist at BASSETTI Group

Oleksandr Firsov is a doctoral candidate at LIG - Grenoble Informatics Laboratory, focusing on the application of automated planning techniques in industrial process scheduling and management, as a member of the MARVIN Research group. In addition to this role since May 2022, Firsov serves as an AI Research Scientist and R&D Project Lead at BASSETTI Group and co-founded New Body Technology, where the position of CTO has been held since June 2018. Previous experience includes internships at Laboratoire d'Écologie Alpine (LECA - CNRS - UGA) and Inria in 2021 and 2020, respectively, as well as multiple projects as an app developer from 2013 to 2018. Early career work involved developing educational videos as a Flash Animator at Global Synergy Foundation from 2012 to 2014. Firsov holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes and has earned two Master's degrees in Informatics from Grenoble INP - UGA and Université Grenoble Alpes, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes.
