Pedro Maia

Pedro Maia serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bastarda since September 2022, contributing significantly to brand strategy and leadership. In addition to this role, Pedro is the Founder and Owner of Empowered Books, established in September 2019. Previous experience includes Head of Growth at MeuCapital, where responsibilities bridged marketing and product development, and Head of Marketing at Xiaomi Store Portugal, where Pedro successfully launched multiple stores and drove substantial online sales. Pedro's career features various marketing roles, including Social Media Manager for Xiaomi Technology and Marketing Manager for Yeelight Xiaomi, complemented by leadership positions at Forall Phones and ISCAC Junior Solutions. Academically, Pedro holds a Postgraduate Degree in Marketing Management from Porto Business School and has completed an Executive Course in Marketing Fundamentals.
