Nicola Bui

Nicola Bui has been working in the IT field since 2005. Nicola began their career as an Assistant Engineer at Consorzio Ferrara Ricerche. In 2009, they became the CEO of Patavina Technologies. From 2010 to 2013, they were an Assegnista at DEI at the University of Padova. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at Alcatel-Lucent. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Research Engineer at IMDEA Networks. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Senior Research Scientist at Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science. Currently, they are a Senior Research Engineer and Consultant at Bastille.

Nicola Bui obtained their Maturità scientifica from Liceo scientifico A. Roiti, Ferrara in 1999. Nicola then went on to pursue a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni from Università degli Studi di Ferrara, which they completed in 2002. Following this, they obtained a Laurea specialistica in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni from the same university in 2005. In 2013, they received their Master's degree in Telematics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Telematics from the same university in 2017.
