Sarah Hermina has a diverse work experience in the field of media and public relations. Sarah started their career as a News Intern at WBFF Fox45 in 2012, where they shadowed reporters, responded to public inquiries, and researched stories. Sarah then interned at the Baltimore Orioles, handling daily press clippings, assisting with social media initiatives, and responding to inquiries from the media and the general public.
In 2014, Sarah worked as a News Intern at NY1 News, where they wrote scripts, edited videos, and researched stories. Sarah then joined Disney ABC Television Group in 2016 as a News Assistant at KABC-TV, working with producers, writers, and reporters on show production for live newscasts. Sarah also researched and wrote breaking news updates for the assignment desk.
Sarah worked at ABC News in 2017 as a Digital News Associate, contributing to newsgathering efforts for the ABC Western Bureau team and producing content for Good Morning America and World News Tonight. Sarah then became a Digital Multimedia Journalist at KSBY in 2018, pitching, shooting, editing, writing, and reporting live stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
In 2019, Sarah joined Westbound Communications as an Account Executive, where they successfully procured media coverage for clients and supported various accounts with community outreach, research, writing, social media, and media pitching. Sarah then worked at ABC News again in 2021 as a Digital Producer, before founding their own PR agency, Envoyer PR, in 2021.
Currently, Sarah is working as a Public Relations Manager at Bastion Amplify, where they develop and executes PR campaigns for clients, secures press for events and company announcements, and conducts media outreach on behalf of clients.
Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated their skills in public relations, media management, research, writing, and producing content for various platforms.
Sarah Hermina completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at St. John's University from 2011 to 2015. Sarah then pursued their Master's degree in Journalism at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism from 2015 to 2016.
