Alex Tawharu

Alex Tawharu is an experienced copywriter currently employed at Bastion Shine since May 2022, having previously held the role of Junior Copywriter. Prior experience includes working as a Creative at Colenso BBDO for a brief period in early 2022, and as a Junior Creative at Pitchblack Partners from April to December 2021. Alex also completed internships as a Placement Student at Wunderman and VMLY&Rx in November 2020. Earlier professional experience involved roles in Brand Engagement at New Zealand Media & Entertainment and Compliance at Craigs Investment Partners. Alex holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies, majoring in Advertising and minoring in Public Relations, from Auckland University of Technology, completed between 2018 and 2020.
