John Pelasio is a creative professional with extensive experience in design, particularly within Te Ao Māori. Currently serving as Creative Lead at Bastion Shine since May 2022, John previously held senior design roles at NZME. from November 2016 to May 2022 and worked as a Designer/Content Creator at Te Ipukarea from December 2013 to October 2016. John holds a Master of Arts in Māori Development from Auckland University of Technology, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Communications in Television, Video, and Digital Media from the same institution, completed in 2013. Education includes attendance at Dilworth School from 2006 to 2010.
