Maria Pia Bastos Tigre Buchheim is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a member of the Ethics and Research Committee at the Instituto Estadual do Cérebro Paulo Niemeyer and as a founding partner at Trilho Gestão e Consultoria, Maria Pia has also held significant positions within the Entrepreneurs' Organization Rio de Janeiro and the Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem. As a partner at Bastos-Tigre, Coelho da Rocha, Lopes e Freitas Advogados since 1997 and an honorary consul of Jamaica from 2006 to 2021, Maria Pia's expertise spans law, governance, and mediation. An alumna of Universidade Candido Mendes with a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Maria Pia has furthered education through programs at Harvard Law School and Ibmec.
