Leah Menard

Leah Menard is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as a Life Skills Teacher at Bastrop Independent School District since August 2020. Previously, Leah held positions as a Behavior Teacher and a Social Behavior Skills Teacher Assistant in educational settings, where there was a focus on working with children who have special needs. Leah has also worked as a Behavior Therapist at the Children's Autism Center, implementing treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis for children with Autism. Additional experience includes caregiving roles, customer service, and leadership in childcare services. Leah is pursuing a Master's degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Grand Canyon University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Stephen F. Austin State University.
