Abs Hassanali

Abs Hassanali has a diverse work experience, starting as a Political Advisor in the House of Commons in 2012. They then worked as an Account Executive at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, where they handled new business clients and implemented crisis management strategies. In 2014, they became an Analyst at The Commonwealth. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Montpellier Public Relations Ltd and achieved recognition by being shortlisted for the PR 'Future Insight' National Awards. They later joined Yellow Jersey PR as an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and eventually as an Account Director. In 2018, they became an Investor and Board Member at Let Me Pay Monthly. Then, they held roles as a PR and Marketing Director (interim) at NODAL and as a Global PR Manager at Global Processing Services. From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Communications Lead, EMEA at Integral Ad Science and currently hold the position of Global Head of PR and Communications at Basware, a leading financial technology company.

Abs Hassanali has a BA in Philosophy from Alma Mater: Heythrop College, University of London, SOAS, Queen Mary, University of London, which was earned from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued an MRes in Philosophy from Alma Mater: Heythrop College UoL, LSE, UCL, King's College London from 2012 to 2013. Currently, Abs is engaged in a Research Fellowship at Harvard University's Centre for Market & Public Organisation, Kennedy School.
