James Shanahan, ACA, currently serves as the Head of Finance for Glantus at Basware, where they ensure accurate financial reporting. Prior to this role, they were the Group Financial Accountant at Glantus from 2021 to 2024, and they gained extensive audit experience at EY from 2016 to 2018, progressing from Assurance Assistant to Audit Senior. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from University College Dublin and is a qualified accountant through Chartered Accountants Ireland. Their early career began with a summer internship in customer service at AIB in 2014.
