Pooja Minocha

Pooja Minocha has a strong background in human resources, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Pooja currently holds the position of Vice President Human Resources and CHRO at Bata India Limited since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CHRO nexus as the Chief Human Resources Officer, providing strategic HR consulting services for mid-sized organizations from 2019 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2019, Pooja Minocha served as the Global Director of Human Resources at ADVANZ PHARMA. In this role, they led the creation of a new people strategy and guided the business in creating a thriving workplace. Pooja also played a key role in leading HR change and transformation programs. Additionally, they held the positions of Director of Global Talent Management and HR Business Partner, as well as Director of Human Resources - Asia Pacific at ADVANZ PHARMA.

Prior to their time at ADVANZ PHARMA, Pooja Minocha worked at Merck as an Associate Director of Human Resources from 2011 to 2016. Pooja was responsible for areas such as compensation and benefits, HR strategy, employee engagement, and talent management.

Earlier in their career, Pooja Minocha held the role of Associate Vice President - HR (C&B) at Bharti AXA Life Insurance from 2006 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a Manager - HR at IBM daksh from 2005 to 2006. Their career in HR began at a Telecom company, where they served as a Manager HR from 2000 to 2004.

Pooja Minocha completed their MBA in HR from ITM Group of Institutions from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a B.Com degree in Commerce from SIES College in Mumbai from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Competency Mapping Expert from Strengthscape in 2019, Devine Inventory Certification from Devine Group in 2019, Happiness Coach from the Berkeley Institute of Well-being and Happitude in 2018, and DiSC Certification from Strengthscape in 2018.
