Thijs Burgess

Thijs Burgess currently serves as Financial Controller at Bata Industrials since March 2016, focusing on financial month-end closing, analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting within one of the largest global producers of safety shoes. Prior experience includes a role as Junior Financial Controller at Hoppenbrouwers Techniek B.V., where Thijs developed a cash flow management model and supported administrative optimization, and an internship at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. concentrating on creditworthiness research for startups. Thijs holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bedrijfseconomie and a minor in Financial Planning from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, along with a high school diploma in Economics and Society from Sondervick College.
