Catherine "Shelly" Williams is an experienced legal professional specializing in complex claims and coverage matters within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Special Counsel for Sompo International Bermuda at BatesCarey LLP since June 2020, Williams brings extensive expertise from previous roles, including Vice President at Chubb, where management of a team handling multi-year exposure claims was a key responsibility. Prior positions include Senior Corporate Counsel at Quest Diagnostics and various claims management roles at ACE, AIG, and McCranie Sistrunk Anzelmo Hardy Maxwell et al, where Williams managed numerous cases, including class actions.
