David Eskdale

David Eskdale is the current Associate Director at Bates Smart. David has over fifteen years of experience in the field of architecture and has worked on a variety of high-profile projects during their career.

Eskdale began their career as an Architectural Assistant with Waring & Netts Architects. David then moved to JGP Architects where they worked as an Architect for four years. In 2006, Eskdale joined Sheppard Robson as a Project Architect. During their eight-year tenure with the company, they led the design team for the CITICAPE HOTEL & OFFICE in London.

Eskdale joined Bates Smart in 2014 and has been responsible for a number of large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across Australia and Asia.

David Eskdale completed a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and a Bachelor of Art (Architectural Studies) at Newcastle University. David is currently working as a professional architect.

David Eskdale reports to Philip Vivian, Managing Director. Some of their coworkers include Peter Ohnrich - Associate Director, Justin Gallagher - Associate Director, and Terry Mason - Associate Director.
