Katie Rathbone

Katie Rathbone is an Associate at Bates Smart. Katie previously worked as a Senior Writer at VSA Partners, a Communications & Awards Consultant at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), and a Graduate Assistant at the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois Chicago. Katie also served as Senior Editor at Design Bureau magazine and founded their own company, Freeman Rathbone Communications, LLC.

Katie Rathbone has a MA in Design Criticism from the University of Illinois Chicago and a degree in Spanish from The Ohio State University. Katie is currently working as an architect.
