Travis Hutchins, MPA has a diverse work experience across multiple sectors. Travis began their career in 2011 as a Librarian Assistant I at the Ouachita Parish Public Library, where they provided front line customer service, negotiated and settled patron disputes, and was a member of the Outreach Committee. In 2014, they began working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana as a CES and Account Advisor II, where they resolved Health Insurance Casework System (HICS) cases, assisted advisers and agents with questions, and maintained the company's 1.5 million customers. Since 2017, they have been the Director of Donor Services at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, where they lead the Foundation's efforts to serve over 600 fund donors, designs and implements donor stewardship and cultivation strategies, and researches and implements new philanthropic tools.

Travis Hutchins, MPA obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications from the same university between 2010 and 2014.
