Marie Louise Stagg

Marie Louise Stagg currently serves in Domestic and International Sales at Visit Baton Rouge since August 2023. Previously, Marie held the position of Director of Sales - Sports at the Louisiana Office of Tourism from February 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included managing contracts with various domestic and international markets and leading sales missions. Marie also worked as Catering Sales Manager at Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center and as Assistant Director of Sales at Nottoway Plantation & Resort, contributing significantly to sales strategies and client engagement. Additional roles included Historian and Curator of Nottoway Mansion, where Marie developed educational tours and managed historical research, as well as Senior Sales Manager with comprehensive operational responsibilities for group events. Marie obtained a Master of Liberal Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design from Louisiana State University.
