Mila Sexton

Mila Sexton, CFRE, currently serves as the Director of Philanthropic Initiatives at Baton Rouge Community College, where responsibilities include leading development efforts, major gift solicitation, and donor relations. Prior to this role, Mila Sexton was the Senior Director of Development at LSU College of Human Sciences & Education from 2002 to January 2024, overseeing philanthropic activities and volunteer management. Additional experience includes positions as Director of Development at Woman's Hospital, Sr. Vice President at the American Heart Association, and Sr. Development Director at General Health System Foundation. Mila Sexton's career in development began as a Development Associate at the Louisiana Council on Child Abuse. Education includes attendance at Louisiana State University and Cathedral High School.
