Douglas Burket has over 25 years of experience in healthcare information systems, currently serving as a Senior Systems Analyst at Baton Rouge General Medical Center since June 2009. In this role, Burket has been a key member of the Core Team responsible for the successful implementation of the Paragon Registration, Resource Scheduling, and Patient Management modules in February 2014, as well as leading the deployment of the PatientSecure Palm Vein Scanning Biometric Patient Identification system in October 2013. Previous positions include Senior Technical Consultant at High Pointe Consulting, where Burket provided support and training for INVISION PA and Soarian EDM, and Senior Systems Consultant at ACS Healthcare Provider Solutions, supporting INVISION PM & PA. Burket also held roles at Duke University Health System, TechServ, Georgetown University Hospital, Superior Consulting Services, and MedStar Health, gaining extensive expertise in systems implementation, upgrade support, and client service across various healthcare settings.
