Humberto Garcia

Humberto Garcia is an experienced professional with a strong background in energy and environmental science and technology. As a Directorate Fellow at Idaho National Laboratory since February 2005, Humberto Garcia has led initiatives focused on dynamic systems modeling, simulation, integration, and optimization, along with predictive analytics and resilient monitoring for cyber-physical systems. Prior to this role, Humberto Garcia held positions as Distinguished Researcher and Research Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory from June 1994 to January 2005, and served as Group Lead for Systems Modeling, Analysis, and Control. Humberto Garcia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Science degree from Penn State University, and an Ingeniero Electricista degree with specialties in Power, and Systems & Automatics from Universidad de Carabobo.
