Jacob Hester

Jacob Hester serves as a Software Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Idaho National Laboratory (INL), managing a team of seven software engineers in the Documents and Records team since October 2018. Previously, Jacob held positions including Lead Software Engineer, where mentoring of interns and leading a significant upgrade of the EDMS system were key responsibilities, and Software Engineer, supporting a business-critical legacy electronic document management system. Jacob's career at INL began after a five-month internship, with an earlier role as a Quality Control Automation Intern at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to INL, Jacob worked at Brigham Young University - Idaho as a Web Analytics Integration Specialist, Web Content Manager, and User Experience Analyst. Jacob earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University - Idaho in June 2019.
