Joelyn Hansen

Joelyn Hansen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Program Liaison at Idaho National Laboratory since April 2022. Prior to this role, Joelyn held the position of Customer Relations Lead at Idaho Falls Power from April 2017 to April 2022, focusing on customer communications, marketing, and STEM outreach initiatives. Joelyn also worked as the Community Projects Coordinator and Public Information Officer for the Idaho Falls Police Department from March 2011 to May 2017, where efforts were directed towards establishing strong media and community relationships. Earlier in Joelyn's career, reporting roles at the Post Register and Beatrice Daily Sun involved coverage of law enforcement, municipal government, and business. Joelyn began the professional journey as the editor of the Wolf Point Herald News. Joelyn holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, both from Washington State University.
