Karin Adams

Karin Adams, PhD, CIH, CSP, is an accomplished industrial hygienist with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as an Industrial Hygienist at Idaho National Laboratory and an OSHA Instructor at the University of Washington, Karin has held prominent positions including Principal Investigator at Boise State University and Assistant Professor/Director of the Environmental and Occupational Health Program. A former graduate research assistant at Colorado State University, Karin's research has included conducting noise dosimetry and developing occupational health management systems. Previous roles at organizations such as the Mayo Clinic and Schumpert Medical Center involved leading safety audits and managing exposure risks for healthcare professionals. Karin holds a PhD in Environmental Health with a focus on Industrial Hygiene and a Master’s in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Colorado State University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Centenary College of Louisiana.
