Kevin Tolman is a Materials Scientist/Engineer at Idaho National Laboratory since December 2016, specializing in pyrochemistry and molten salt systems for extreme environments. Previously, Kevin served as a Postdoctoral Research/Instrument Scientist, performing tasks such as characterizing metallic and ceramic nuclear fuels and mentoring on-the-job training. Additionally, Kevin has contributed as an Editorial Assistant for Elsevier's Materials Research Bulletin since 2012, managing peer-review processes for over 500 scientific manuscripts annually. Kevin's academic background includes a PhD and an M.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering, all from Boise State University. Kevin also has a logistics management degree from the Community College of the Air Force and has experience in fuel management as a POL Fuels Craftsman in both the Idaho Air National Guard and the United States Air Force.
