Ryan Heil

Ryan Heil is an experienced operations manager currently leading multiple support organizations at Battelle National Biodefense Institute, LLC, where responsibilities include facility maintenance operations, environmental operations, property management, and equipment calibrations. Ryan also serves as a project manager, facilitating collaboration across various teams to ensure effective execution of facility-related projects while maintaining ISO accredited laboratory operations in a high hazard environment. Previously, Ryan held positions as Mission Assurance Engineer III and Systems Engineer II at Northrop Grumman Corporation, conducting data analysis, process improvement tasks, and managing large-scale projects. Earlier experience includes roles as Production Supervisor at Olson Wire Products Co. and Construction Manager at Toll Brothers, Inc. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
