Rebecca Henry

Rebecca Henry currently serves as the Chief Programs Officer at the Battered Women's Justice Project, where responsibilities include leadership within the Executive Leadership Team, strategic planning, and fostering an inclusive team environment. Prior to this role, Rebecca held various positions at the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence, including Deputy Chief Counsel and Acting Director and Chief Counsel, managing policy initiatives and program activities related to gender-based violence. Additional experience includes directing the Elder Justice Project at Legal Services for the Elderly, providing legal representation for elders, and serving as a staff attorney dedicated to domestic violence victims. Rebecca's background is complemented by significant legal clerkships and a solid academic foundation with a JD from New York University School of Law and advanced degrees in philosophy and women's studies.
