Rob Valente

Rob Valente is an experienced professional specializing in firearms and domestic violence advocacy. Currently serving as an Advisor at BWJP since April 2023, Valente previously held the position of Principal at Domestic Violence Policy & Advocacy from February 2018 to June 2023. Additionally, Valente was Vice President of Policy and Policy Consultant at the National Domestic Violence Hotline from December 2014 to June 2023. Prior experience includes consulting for the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges from 2011 to December 2014 and serving as General Counsel for the National Network to End Domestic Violence from 2009 to 2011. Valente holds a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from Cornell University.
