Cameron McDonald

Cameron McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Cameron started their career at Lincoln Financial Group as an Associate in their Leadership Preparation Program from August 2010 to March 2012. Cameron then joined Comcast as an Engagement Manager from March 2012 to October 2015, where they managed consulting projects for Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal. Following that, they joined Marathon Petroleum Corporation and held various positions, including Internal Audit Manager and Lead Project Manager, from October 2015 to July 2018. At Marathon Petroleum Corporation, they led internal audit projects and designed and implemented strategic initiatives for the organization. From July 2018 to September 2021, Cameron worked at Whataburger as a Manager, Strategy & Operations. Cameron partnered with c-level executives to design the long-term vision and growth plan for the brand and led strategic operations projects. Currently, they are the Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Inventory at Batteries Plus, starting in September 2021. Additionally, from September 2023, they also hold the position of Director of Strategy and Communications at Batteries Plus, responsible for enterprise strategy and corporate communications.

Cameron McDonald obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas in 2010. In 2015, they completed an Internal Audit Certificate Program at Villanova University. In 2018, they participated in a Project Management Certificate Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2018 and as a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2015.
