Morad Elhafed

General Partner at Battery Ventures

As a general partner at Battery, Morad focuses on growth and private-equity investments in the software sector. He is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America and Europe. Based in the firm’s Boston office, he also routinely works out of the London office.

Currently, he is involved with Battery’s investments in 1WorldSync; Clubessential (a platform company including Black Diamond, ClubReady, Performance IQ, PrestoSports and Stretch Internet); CrunchTime!; Forterro (including Abas Software AG, BPSC, Clip Industrie, Infocube, Jeeves, ProConcept, Silog and Sylob); Olo; SigmaTEK Systems; VertiGIS (including AED-SICAD, Dynamic Design Group, Geocom Group, Latitude Geographics and SynerGIS GIS & FM Solutions) and WinWorker.

He was also involved with IHS (acquired by Sabre); Mendix (acquired by Siemens); Neolane (acquired by Adobe); SingleHop (acquired by INAP); and Vero Software (acquired by Hexagon).

Before Battery, Morad worked in the technology investment-banking practice at RBC Capital Markets, where he focused on M&A, equity and debt financings. Morad graduated with a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
