Battle Check Mondays is a Video Meet Up of Veterans, to have community and open dialog in a way only us fellow veterans can. In the past years we have lost too many brothers and sisters to them taking their own lives. We want to try to help prevent it from occurring again, not one more brother or sister. This idea was started by Justin K Maxwell. As we have all overcome many obstacles in life, military related or not. Sitting and talking with our fellow veterans and service members, gives us an opportunity to communicate in a way that most civilians cringe at, or just could never understand. Even mental health professionals wouldn't be sure how to handle our dark humor and unique comradery if exposed to it in an uncensored manor.

Meetings are scheduled late on Mondays, after everyone has had an opportunity to wind down and put kids to bed etc etc. Intended to give us an opportunity to talk and release stress before having to pay bills and start all over again at the beginning of the month.

You are not alone, you are important, someone cares about you, we all would miss you if you left. Make the call, ask for help.

22 A Day

Let's make a dent in this statistic the only way we can, together. Just Vets, sitting and talking, working out life and its problems.
